November 18th and 19th – KMDF financially supports the “2014 A Celebration Of Freedom, 25 Years of Democracy in Czech Republic.” KMDF Directors participate in a three-days of events focused on celebrating 25 years of democracy in Czech Republic, as well as President Vaclav Havel. These events are organized by the VACLAV HAVEL LIBRARY FOUNDATION, and the AMERICAN FRIENDS OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC.

October 1st, 2014 – The KMDF directors attend and support the annual VIA BONA Award for Philanthropy is given by the VIA Foundation under the sponsorship of the Embassy of the United States. This event is held in Prague.

May 1st, 2014 – The CCC Board supports the Historic Chicago Bungalow Association honoring Mayor Rahm Emanuel
A number of Czech families are among those who live and continue to live in classic Chicago bungalows that provide its residents with comfortable urban living. April 2014- Members of the KMDF on time to advance progress on CCC’s programing which will officially open September 11th, 2014.
March 14th to 20th, 2014 – The KMDF sponsors the first full-career retrospective of Czech director Jan Nemec in North America.

March 15th 2014 – The KMD foundation sponsors Chicago Czech Center outing to the Hubbard Street Dance Company.
Hubbard Street Dance Company performed four works of Jiri Kylian, one of the most influential choreographers of contemporary dance. The KMDF organized a group of Czech and American viewers to attend a performance on March 15th.
March 8th, 2014 – The KMDF financially supports the “2. Divadelvi Ples” of Divadlo Bohemia.

February 2014- Members of the KMDF travel to Prague, Washington D.C., and New York to meet leaders of the Czech-American community, as well as Czech officials, to seek support for CCC and unique programing for Chicago area.
